Thank you for everything you have ever taught me.

Thank you for teaching me it’s okay to feel. That the world rests not on my shoulders, but on everyone’s.

Thank you for teaching me the power of determination, and the ability to push through all obstacles if I put my mind to it.

Thank you for teaching me the power of the word No. And the fact that when heard it must be respected, no matter your own feelings toward it.

Thank you for teaching me to care, not just for others but for myself, and understanding that while the needs of the many are great. They can never be helped unless your own needs are first met.

Thank you for giving me the ability to respect myself, and trust in my own choices. Allowing me to grow as my own person, and not as a carbon copy or yourself or anyone else.

Thank you for teaching me that Love comes in many forms. It does not need only be romantic, and that I can love many people in many different ways and vise versa.

And overall thank you for your unyielding and unending support and love. It’s because of you that I am the Man I am today.
